Protocol And Studio Etiquette

ATTIRE
Ballet: Students can wear their favorite colored leotard with pink or tan tights. Tap shorts or a dance skirt are optional. Hair must be worn in a bun, with long bangs pulled back. Ballet slippers are required.
Jazz: Students should wear jazz pants and a sleeveless tank or t-shirt; a leotard and tights are also appropriate. If a student is wearing shorts, tights must be worn underneath. Hair should be pulled away from the face. Jazz shoes are required for all classes, and knee pads are required for Jazz 3 and Advanced Jazz.
Tap: Students can wear jazz pants or shorts, tank top or t-shirt, and should have their hair pulled away from their face. Tap shoes are required. Jeans are not permitted.
Dance and Tumble: Jazz pants, shorts, leotard and tights are all appropriate. No baggy clothes. Jazz shoes or ballet slippers are required.
Tumble: Jazz pants, shorts, snug fitting tanks and t-shirts are all appropriate. No baggy clothes. Tumble shoes are required.
Please note: As of September 2008 your child will not be permitted to take class without the proper attire. These policies are in effect for our teachers to properly instruct and correct each student. Thank you for your cooperation.

FOOD AND DRINKS
Water is the preferred beverage for dance. Only water will be permitted in class. For students who will be at the studio for extended periods, healthy snacks are allowed in the reception area and the "kid's lounge".

MAKE UP POLICY
If your child is absent, talk to the teacher regarding an appropriate make up class.

Refund Policy It is HDTC policy not to refund tuitions paid. We would recommend that you encourage your child to continue class until the next tuition payment is due. Costume fees are non-refundable.

PET POLICY
So sorry, no pets allowed (as stipulated in our lease).
